The Lord our God has spoken Matthew 28:16-20 as a mission for this ministry to actively by faith, prayer and giving to make a global impact. Our vision is to Equip Kingdom Citizens through Preaching, Teaching, Prayer, Fellowship, and Stewardship. The mission from God for Wilson Heights FCOG is to teach, baptize, and make disciples. This is an ordination to go and train Kingdom Citizens to make disciples. We are a training center to equip God's people to live a life of victory and this victory encourages them to testify and witness of the goodness of Jesus in their life to others and encourage them to trust in the Lord
The Lord our God has spoken a tremendous assignment upon us as a church family, but we walk by faith not by sight. As this vision becomes reality through faith, mutually shared responsibilities, and resources, we are becoming the church that God has designed us to be. Through effective Ministries in Administration, Discipleship, Stewardship, Evangelism, Worship, Fellowship, and Missions we should each year elevate our church family closer to the ultimate Mission , Vision, and Purpose to:
• Establishing an After School Tutoring Program that will help evaluate our children's test scores in the EOG Testing at the Elementary and Middle School level and test scores for the ACT and SAT in the high school level.
• Create a Youth Leadership Training Institute that will help empower our next generation to become leaders for tomorrow.
• Open a Christian Base Alternative School for Children who have been labeled as “not teachable” within the local system from 3 rd grade to 12 th grade.
• Continue to develop our Radical for Christ Youth Ministry to meet the spiritual needs for the next generation of promise and destiny. The Now Generation.
• Have a Relationship and Christian Counseling Center where relationships will be nurtured and those in need of deeper care mentally and emotionally will be spiritually guided.
• An Education Center where member will be empowered through Christian development and discipleship training in well equipped classroom for all ages.
• The seniors will be cared for in a warm and loving atmosphere of single level Apartment Homes for those who are able to live self sufficient in a complex with medical facilities, fitness facilities and informational resource center to help them live their lives to the fullest.
• There will be an Economic and Business Training Institute with the emphasis on Biblical financial freedom to move God's people from welfare to God fare.
• Creation of a Disability Worship Center for the spiritual development of those with disabilities and their families to worship and grow spiritually in a non-threatening environment.
• The creation of a Transitional Housing Complex for the transfiguration and restoration of those who are re-entering society from drug addiction and prison. Providing housing, treatment, living skills, job training, family counseling, spiritual development, and other needs.
• Establish Community Ministry Development Council to write some grant proposals to finance some of these ministries and form partnership with community organizations wherever feasible.
• Establish a Sports and Healthy Living Wellness Center Ministry for all ages to become better educated on eating healthy, fitness training, prayer, and meditation as a daily routine way of healthy living.
• We will worship through preaching, teaching, prayer, and giving at a church facility that will accommodate a growing congregation with space for Children's Church, Christian development activities, ministerial and administrative staff space.
• We will establish businesses to create profits used to advance God's Kingdom and create employment opportunities for God's people to live Kingdom free in there personal finances and be employed in a spirit filled atmosphere
